Coris BioConcept is a middle sized company specialised in developing, manufacturing and marketing rapid diagnostic tests. These tests are based on the immunochromatography principle with the use of colloidal gold particles or latex microspheres. Since several years, Coris has developed two ranges of products aimed at the detection of enteric and respiratory pathogens. A third range of products has been launched in the biomolecular field with Coris’ proprietary oligochromatographic technology. Coris’ products are distributed in more than 60 countries over the world.

 

Coris is partner in two other European Commission projects: a Specific Targeted Research Project for developing rapid tests for detecting SARS-CoV (Complementary research action to support SARS-related diagnostic tests, therapeutic interventions and vaccine development – SARS-DTV”) and the Network of Excellence GRACE aimed at combating antimicrobial resistance.
